The new age

Man is it me or is every type of music these days is waterdown from the beats to the chours to the words. There were the creators of the 40s 50s and 60s like Aretha Franklin Ray Charles and Johnny Cash just to name a few they fuse soul, RnB, rock country and blues. Each one of them and others put that style on the map and became legend and their shows were worth more than a your house it was so great to have a chance (i didn't I'm only 22) to see them in person or performing live. Then you had the standouts of the late 60s and 70s like Tina Turner Pattie Labelle Queen Elton John and Stevie Wonder. They took what the creators did and took it to a whole nother level fusing Ray's piano skills and cash's band like feel and the soul of Aretha's voice  and of course made it their own you couldn't tell me none of Stevie's albums didn't go hard or that queen didn't become "the" rock gods (yes even bigger than the Beatles at one point) and made millions of new artist for generations and decades and even artist today get inspired by them. The greatest time of music hands down was the icons of the 80s to the mid 90s. Where you had Micheal Jackson Prince Sade Teddy Riley Janet Jackson Rick James (yes look it up) Dr Dre Tupac Notorious B.I.G Aaliyah Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis New Edition Run DMC Guns n Roses Def Leopard and countless others they are what these artist today wish they were or could be. They took what the previous ones did revamped and created extra shit on top of it and created the best possible music ever made yes ever!

So why is it that the artist today don't have that moxy that drive that will to create or fuse creatively something new? Its various reasons for that , For one people think there isn't anymore you can create anymore. They truly do it for the fame and money when a major artist say they do it for the love of it most of them be lying they ass off just tell us the truth we can accept you if do so. And the Internet has made it possible for a gay dude singing lock your doors close the windows or some dude who look like a mix of 50 cent and Mike Tyson to get a record deal WTF? no disrespect to either but you have no damn talent GO AWAY. The producers have gotten lazy yes some of them make original beats that are fire but most just sample old songs (from some of the artist i mentioned above) and putting a extra bell or instrument in it. But yet the young kids are eating it up like its new. They love a soulja boy or a lil wayne (new wayne not old) or waka flocka flame. One (wayne) has fallen into the abyss of stardom and is lost forever the other two are artist that are a gimmic, and speaking of gimmics why in the fuck does anybody i mean anybody over the age of 18 listen to nicki minaj WHY WHY she doesnt know how to rap or sing she is a complete gimmic from the ways she looks to the way she changes her voice to the way she raps completely dumb she needs to go away for a long long time. On the Rnb side of things it seems like for order for you to have a hit you need to be fucking her all night or you man/woman aint me or other freaky why is that hell why put it out there so plain as day no methphors or nothing. Then thier is chris or chissy chirs you beat rhianna ass you change up the way you sing and what words you use while singing them and people may love you more now than back then because somehow you made yourself into the new version of bobby brown minus the drugs. How is all this nonsence possible hmmm  i would say but not now.

Thier are artist new and vets that are amazing and will continue to be amazing, such ass jill scott marsha ambrosis miguel maxwell lupe fiasco Z-ro and K-rino(google him if you dont know who that is). They do remind me of the artist i said above and they can not and will not be stop. People do regonize thier talent and im glad to say i support artist like this anyday. They may not be mainstream and some choose not to be on purpose but thier music always seems to sneak threw the cracks because thier are more people such as myself who enjoy them. So to answer my question do we really need this era of music yes and no but i leave up to you to have your answer on it
